Beautiful Antique Hanging Lamp.
Dates from the 1880s.
Originally, this gem was a gas lamp. You can see this from the taps on the side of the hanging lamp. The taps were used to regulate the gas supply.
In our studio, the antique hanging lamp is supplied with electricity. In this way we have made the pendant lamp suitable for use via the mains. Of course these days nobody uses gas anymore more to burn pendant lamps.
Classic hanging lamp, that's the best way to describe her.
Gold-coloured copper frame. The frame is therefore hollow. Small round beads with facets are strung into the copper frame. On the lamp hang 'octagons' (octagonal glass beads) with elongated glass beads cut back to a point underneath.
The copper pendant lamp needs space to come into its own.
Detail: small copper stem is missing from the pendant lamp on one side. See the photos for this. In other words: 'Find the differences'.
