Beautiful antique hanging lamp, not that big, from the 1930s.
An opal glass lampshade on a short fixture (burnished copper).
On the lampshade a beautiful scene, a sailing boat near Venice (or so we think).
Opal glass is bluish-white, fiery, opalescent, translucent glass that is partially opaque with, for example, tin oxide. Red hues are visible in transmitted light.
Antique pendant lamp, shows normal traces of use.
This pendant lamp has been thoroughly checked by us.
