Do you have a lamp on a rod or a lamp on a chain with an adjusting pipe.
Then place an adjusting ring under your ceiling cap.
This way you can clamp the ceiling cap tightly against the ceiling.
By tightening the screw, you can clamp the adjusting ring on the metal tube, very easily.
Some ceiling caps already have an adjusting ring attached to it, so you don't need a separate adjusting ring.
