N.B.: bead is 1.1 cm (0.43 inch) thick.
At the front of the bead in the middle is a flat cut square with 8 sides.
From those edges the bead has been cut diagonally to the edge.
This creates an edge division into 8 facets.
The back of the bead ends in a point.
If you look into the bead from the front, you will see an asterisk with 8 dots.
Once more: The bead is 2.7 cm (1.06 inch) in diameter and 1.1 cm (0.43 inch) thick.
The bead has a hole on both sides in which pins can be inserted to connect the bead to other glassware.
If you need connection material, order it separately. It is not included.
