Art Deco glass bead, elongated and round in shape, made of solid glass.
These beads were commonly used along the edges of Art Deco lamps, often combined with copper fittings and frames.
They were either suspended through small holes in the metalwork or attached to ribbons or wires stretched along the fixture, creating the elegant and decorative lines typical of the Art Deco style.
Historically, these glass beads were also found in interiors, for example along the edges of shelves inside cupboards, such as kitchen cabinets or linen cupboards.
Today, they can still be used as a decorative detail in various ways:
