Classic hanging lamp designed by Peter Behrens for Siemens ca. 1910.

The lamp consists of a red-brown copper fixture.
Matt glass lampshade, The lampshade consists of 2 parts.
The copper ring in the center of the lamp holds the two parts together.

Architect, designer and artist Peter Behrens (1868-1940) was one of the most influential German designers of the 20th century. He is known as the father of modern industrial design. He was also a founding member of the Munich Secession and co-founder of the Deutscher Werkbund (German Craftsmen's Association). They paved the way for the Bauhaus movement.
