Industrial pendant lamp from the 1940s. This hanging lamp has a matt silver coloured fixture (matt nickel) to which a white glass shade is attached. The conical shaped shade has a slightly pointed bottom. In the style of famous Gispen's lamps from that time.
Nice detail: 4 of these hanging lamps were used during the shooting of the TV Series 'Flying Dutchmen' (Vliegende Hollanders). This successful TV series by the AVRO-TROS Broadcasting Cooperation is about the lives of Anthony Fokker, founder of Fokker Aviation, and Albert Plesman, founder of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (the oldest still operating airline in the world).
In this TV series they can also be seen with a (somewhat longer) gold-coloured copper fixture.
Industrial pendant lamp, shows normal traces of use.
The fixture is of a later date.
