The holder has an outer diameter of approximately 9.0 cm (3.54 in).
On the inside, it has an opening with a diameter of ca. 8.4 cm (3.31 in).
For safety, the raised rim of the glass shade should have a diameter of no more than 8.3 cm (3.27 in).
